Biography

Moldig was formed in 2005 in Torino, Italy, as a duo with Giuditta Corgnati on vocals/bass and Enrico Bricco on guitars. On stage we are joined by Daniele Pavignano on drums. The band honed their live show playing Italy and all over Europe.

The debut album ('Moldig- No Title') was released on the November 28th, 2007. Some of the songs feature Glenn Maryansky on drums from the New York, NY USA band Blacklist. (http://www.myspace.com/blacklistmusic)

Moldig was also elected Best New Comers for 2007 by the 'Drop Dead Magazine'. Other notable events in this time included the song "A game", was a song featured on "Notes from the New Underground no.7" Compilation (www.post.punk.com ), and "Mirror", was featured on the German "Smoke & Spotlight" Compilation no. 2. "Horizon", was featured on " Stay in the Box ", a Matchbox Recordings (Oxford, UK) showcase album released worldwide and advertised worldwide on MTV2.

In 2008 Moldig was signed to US-based record label, Roc Records (http://www.rocrecords.com). After signing with the US-based label they did their first tour in the US spending a week covering the eastern part of the country. They did so with Ronnie Pizzo http://dj-ronnie.com taking over on drums.

Songs from Moldig's debut album received radio play on various radio stations: Radio Reverb, Matchbox Radio, Insomnia Radio, Thirteen13 (UK), Radio Tonkuhle (DE), Ash Radio , Nette Radio, Juper Radio, Rock365, Wireonline, Headcase Radio, (USA), Isonlive Radio (Australia), RLP, RadioPNR, RadioBaldanza (It), InerciaRadio (Mexico) and have been played by DJs in Europe, USA and Australia. German Magazine no.54 said "The treachery" is filling the dancefloors at German parties!".

As of 2010 Moldig is recording songs for their sophomore album and touring Europe with plans to release the album and tour the US in early 2011.
